Ode to Horishi


2022

Handpoke tattoo with ink on handmade paper from recycled prints, tattoo needles, dowel rod, monofilament, thread, wood.  
12 pieces of handmade paper – when tiled togeher, one side creates a digitally rendered collage that has been handpoked.  The other side is the outline of my body, tattooed on to the paper.  They are never fully aligned, creating an ever changing image in motion.
